Today we had our first inside tour of the current empty shell of our new campus building for creative tech and games. It’s pretty exciting.
Tomorrow’s performance / presentation…. don’t normally use Powerpoint but it was useful for this double team effort … let us see how many people we get doing our new idle social dance we created ! And we couldn’t resist the final slide… which has the music etc for the dance…
Well I finally gave in to properly use chatGPT help me solve a code issue and to be fair the conversations helped and I am confident it saved me time. I’m not pleased about the cloud power consumption etc. I look forward to Apple sorting an on device chatGPT…
QuickTime on macOS is great for screen recording locally but the .mov files are just insanely massive and the limited options in QT export doesn’t help. So to fix my PowerPoint bloat had to do the “make .zip, pop every video through VLC conversion, replace, rezip and rename back to .pptx dance”
All this talk about being inclusive and supporting diversity yet every single funding call related to academic or related requires you to fill in a text based application form. I’m getting sick of it.
Oh if I haven’t made it clear I will never watch us play them. Neither home (neither will I resell my season ticket, my seat will remain empty) or away (stadium paid for by Asda/IKEA). So when there is some wind up about attendance at that game just do some basic homework about actual attendances…

Well I had an excuse to get my head into Godot 4 at Global Game Jam, We are hosting again at work (Winchester School of Art) this weekend. I do love how easy it is to get things up and running. Fear not I made sure we have healthy snacks too.
Seriously Sainsbury’s your policy for when you take in unsold papers is stupidly early. Some of us are busy. And yet you don’t close for 2 more hours but the papers are considered unsold and packed away…
