@w4rner basically it actually mixes with your coffee (also frothier) the others tend to separate or worse curdle (in a non milky way) 👍 If I am forced to get regular oat milk my heart sinks a little

@pimoore this is very valid. I might wait until WWDC and a few other things slot into place. I was hanging on as last iPad Pro update was not really an update and I wasn’t in the market the big update before that. If I start back to commuting on a train a few days a week I am very tempted for that time to be iPad Pro work time or Nintendo switch playtime🤣

@pimoore well i do like my iPad Pro for scribbling notes and such and want to do more drawing etc but I have a functional iPad Pro with original pencil, I really want a more powerful one but as it’s M1 I’m wondering if I will miss apps and such that I could instead have on a iMac set up at home - plus iPad would cost more than an iMac and that’s without even buying keyboard and stand - I probably don’t need either really. I just think M1 in iMac I can do more and limp on with old iPad… or I try and get more productive on iPad setup and continue to use work MBP for coding (with screens). I guess if I could write and run Vue.is on iPadOS that would be a game changer. My 16” MBP and it’s fans just feels old already 🤣 I feel like the M1 will be trapped in iPad but also M1 trapped at home on iMac…. 🤪🤣

@ChrisJWilson if they cared they would have used the magic money tree to give all HE students an reduced fee year. Teaching would still have been excellent and we would have still done our best but students would have felt supported and more with that simple act of support for education. But economy more important than education. Sure that’s a rather simplistic answer to a complicated issue I and many others have been battling through. But I’m pretty confident the front bench have no idea why the creative industries are so important to the economy.

@wearsmanyhats I think your right. They are basically shifting the hey “you deal with it” onto educators. And also probably saying well “you did alright so far” but not counting the staff and students anxiety / long term impacts etc of shifting an entire year to distance online with next to zero tangible support for Universities. Being well groomed and tatood is more important than educating a large chunk of future society in the best ways possible in current circumstances which would be to open up our campus’s for as much as is safe in person teaching and blended. Done so much this year to make things work and the non announcement is frankly insulting.

@pyrmont is that what it is - the fact you can then cut nothing by mistake and it wipes clipboard has been infuriating me - is this a recent change. I recall thinking this can’t be right surely we have more context aware design in computers now. Now realising it’s just slack painful
