Can someone please tell my why Outlook for macOS has moved the spell check reveal to be a left click, I can see its making its own suggestions… so I guess it has something to do with not using the system default / probably use of Ai etc but its so discombobulating.

Well WWDC keynote was as dull as ditch water. iPadOS looked the most intresting as they make it into macOS 🤣

I never really use Apple memories on Photos but I wanted to today but oh boy is it just my iPhone or do the 3 dots hardly ever work can’t tap the stupid things - rotating phone didn’t help, killing app didn’t help, restarting didn’t help. Did they break iOS Photos with an update 🤷

I have all pretty new Apple devices iPhone, iPad, mac, watch, headphones etc but I am sick of them always being out charge it’s ridiculous ok not as bad as intel etc but its actually a problem - to be fair the mac is the only one I have less worries about

Am loving the beta micro.blog app on iPhone. A few missing features and not ready for iPad but it’s very nice. Hopefully my testing and feedback can help it progress to launch in early 2023. Main bug for me at the moment is not wrapping long usernames which causes sideways scroll

Been spending some time in iPad app reading micro.blog timeline the last couple of days, it’s frustrating that when app switching I lose my place and have to scroll down and tap more a few times plus also on cell data and wondering if I’m reloading same data each time @manton

Gah Ulysses is not syncing again from my mac at work to my iPad at home. So iCloud is still terrible. Hidden sync is terrible. Good job I only had hoped to share and not actually work on my PhD text this evening unbelievable. Poor, hopefully I will get it on my iPad at some point

iPhone X since ios13 just doesn’t seem to get screen time requests anymore. So annoying for me and youngest daughter ! Tried the screen time on off dance on my phone which also screws up data no luck. Thankfully iPad gets notified. 😢 booo Apple

iOS 13.1.1 Apple Music scrolling lyrics is great but it’s a little clunky as the overlay on iPadOS to be fair. Why it doesn’t split the view half and half instead I don’t know 🎵

I am fortunate enough to have a couple of iPads and iPhone X. I would really like a few more things like app location and share sheets to be sync’d and especially after iOS 13 where a lot of this has changed. Manually trying to make them look/feel the same is a royal pain.

Here we go… iOS13.1 on the way. I only want it for Apple Arcade, Dark mode & iPadOS really. Hmm I guess that will do watchOS update aswell. Update evening hahaha the only thing I will have to really consider is Catalina (when it’s out) and work as maybe a bad idea💡

If I get anything Apple related this year it will be an new 12” iPad Pro and new Pencil but am holding out for the iPad Pro to get update before I see what the bank manager says.

Coding on holiday so the MacBook Pro keyboard gets some work out but this doesn’t help debugging as connections becomes connnections - keyboard pains

Mac Pro looks great but insane spec means insane pricing and a lot of extra costs from base model. I wont need it and for education annoyingly Windows machines with good GPUs will take over.

I see Ulysses 16 has Ghost publishing support now. Still waiting on Micro.blog. But split view on iPad sounds useful. I think once (hopefully) MB publishing support comes I‘ll double down on Ulysses as my main writing platform.

If they can bring Xcode to the iPad Pro and VS Code (plus some terminal). Then I might even ditch the laptop… what an amazing update. Shame Pencil 2 doesn’t work with older iPads though - was holding out for that hope!

I sketched out a little icon for project Node Noggin. I want it to feel ULM inspired. Was sketched in OneNote on iPad with Apple Pencil, I like the quality but its not very scaleable, need to think about transposing the semi “hand draw” feel. Discuss
