Day 1/35 on annual leave. Sensible soccer (2020) working on steamdeck. New playdate games arrived. Post office done, Dad dropped to train, daughters contacts purchased. Local Turkish barbers found and used. Having a pint. Next to do lunch for the family.

2022-08-01 University of Southampton purchase and upgrade of the Sir James Matthews building is coming along with new decals running around the bottom about our research activites. The cool Spitfire public art by Ray Smith (360 degree roll) still intact thankfully
2022-08-03 Good news. meter readings, an email with octopus and ordered smart meter install tomorrow, my monthly bill is back down to the still higher than last year cost but a manageable cost. Don’t want those fossil fuel giants to miss out too much on the sweet sweet burn of profiteering

Day 4/35 annual leave, getting use to being off. Continuing to organise home, installing more games on Steamdeck. Struggled to get eFootball working and when I did, I wasn’t impressed with performance probably need to edit more settings…should just launch Ps5 version🤦🏻♂️🤷♂️

Not an England fan but I cheered on the team Sunday, my daughter has been coming to watch Wimbledon with me since she was 1, she would ask why she didn’t play as much football as the boys. I was it turns out ignorant at the lack of opportunities for girls, always learning.
Day 5/35 leave - smart meter install, then a steamdeck trackmania summer 2022 track day I reckon tho catching up on @coreint always makes me want to crack on with some coding. I also randomly found out the I am on RescueTime classic (free) no idea when new RescueTime came out 🤪
