pulling the rug out the stack

Posted a question on stackoverflow got an answer which I was trying out had some good follow up comments on parts, pushed it to a chat as don’t allow lots of comments. Person then said they refuse to debug in chat and that I should create another question and was I going to mark their answer as “the” answer I advised I was still working it out so couldn’t confirm yet as the answer but again thanked them and I would get back. Subsequently they deleted their answer, which also removes my comments. I was upset about his really unfriendly move 🐁🐭🤣
