Interestingly at the moment inkwell is my feed of very specific micro.blog and mastodon people and a few blogs that I really don’t want to miss. I am going to slowly build the collection but I like it as it feels more curated and more slow news nice one @manton put me on the beta app too ;)
A minor Ui issue with showing replies in inkwell on web fyi @manton (I’m sure you are already aware)
upgraded macOS 26.4.1 (25E253) and my macOS Fantastical Office 365 (work) account starts working but this now has broken iOS devices on 26.4.1 already 🤦 unbelievable… I really rely on my calendar but I cannot use outlook calendar on macOS or iOS as its just terrible… but this is the dance!
On the day I happen to need to re authenticate my Microsoft 365 account with Fantastical is the day I hit two bugs that basically locks me out of calendars on iOS… waiting for them to send me test flight beta… too late for iPad I deleted all Microsoft apps trying to figure out what had happened
So right now even with the test flight beta Fantastical has been rendered completely useless for my office 365 work account on my iPhone and iPad what a blooming week and I live in my Fantastical calendar! Not holding out a ton of hope for a fix either…
Ok flexibits and fantastical have literally came to my rescue and sorted it! All is forgiven what a fantastic service even when dealing with a very grumpy me. Now to reinstall all my Microsoft apps on my iPad 🤪🤦

Mandatory Arts
As the world becomes further fractured and harder to navigate and understand, I continue to be more and more convinced that we need as many creative thinkers as possible. Creativity isn’t something some of us are born with its something born out of the act of being creative this is a process, the process is bound up in undertaking the Arts,
to see the world differently, to imagine new possibilities.
So please in the UK I propose that the set of mandatory GCSES should be;
- Arts
- English Language
- Maths
- Science
What I am just reading backblaze is no longer backing up any cloud sync’d folders! Ok I need to have a think about snapshot solutions again I think. I mean we know iCloud / OneDrive is not a backup but I guess in theory they have all your files so backblaze backup and cloud download should be ok…
Treated myself today
In the last week I have gone from having 4-6 black coffees and day to half a cup of weak milky (oat) coffee. I am definitely sleeping better. I am also making sure to have a glass of water (with a tiny amount of salt) by my bed each night also helping. Small changes but seem positive.

Yesterday on a whim we went to a near by Italian Restaurant just by the Mayflower Theatre Southampton. It was completely empty, no one sounded Italian and closes at 9PM… the food was amazing!!! 100% recommend - it’s called Milan!!
