Soulver has been my go to app for natural language calculations for years, it convert all kinds of things like unit, currency, volumes, time and calendar, workdays, timezones and so much more I hardly touch !
A basic example you can type to work out a % this I use a lot.
accepts 60 as % of 167
I dont use the app daily, and sometimes it will be months before I need it but when I do it has always been a delight, it just works the way I want to approach calculations.
I have used Soulver since version 1.3 in 2006 but haven’t upgraded since version 2 (2012), I didn’t need too and there was some delay in the iOS app for Soulver 3 I think so I just stuck with 2 so I could have files on mac and iOS via iCloud, now version 4 is out and is an instant universal purchase it (£55 if you skip the trial). This was a no brainer, great app and a one off payment for an app I have been using for 20 years well worth supporting such great mac developers.
